Spirit of Glory

With you forever

www.truthofhim.com

Jesus said to His own as He was preparing them

for His return to heaven,

‘I will pray to the Father,

and He will give you another Comforter,

the Holy Spirit,

who will stay with you forever.’

He is truth. ‘

God is truth

and those who worship Him must worship Him

but the Spirit of your Father in heaven.’

Mark 11:13

The ‘sealing’ of the Holy Spirit,

Infinitely Glorious Life

The Light of the World

God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

 1 John 1:5

www.truthofhim.com.

God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness,

has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6

3

The mighty God, even the Lord, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down.

Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined.

He calls to the heavens from above, and to the earth,

that He may bring justice to His people.

Gather My saints to Me who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice: the sacrifice of His Son.

4

I will take no bull out of your house,

or he goats from your folds,

for every beast of the forest is Mine,

and the cattle on a thousand hills.

I know all the fowls of the mountains:

and the wild beasts of the field are Mine.

If I were hungry, I would not tell you

for the world is Mine, and all its fullness.

Do I eat the flesh of bulls,

or drink the blood of goats?

No, here’s what He wants.

5

Offer to God thanksgiving

and pay your vows to the Most High.

Call on me in the day of trouble:

I will deliver you; in that, you glorify Me,

(because the evil one comes before the throne of the universe accusing Him of being unworthy to rule.

Your trust in Him and His helping you,

shows how wrong evil is. (Book of Job)

Now consider this, you that forget God:

 those that offer praise glorify Me:

6

and to those that set their paths right,

 I will show the salvation of God.

Psalm 50

Behold My servant, whom I uphold,

My elect, in whom My soul delights;

I have put My spirit on Him:

He will bring justice to the nations.

He won’t fail or be discouraged;

He will set justice in the earth:

and the islands will wait for His law.

7

God the Lord says,

He that created the heavens, and stretched them out;

He that spread out the earth, and what comes out of it,

and gives food to the people,

and spirit to those that walk there:

I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness,

and will hold your hand, and guard you,

and give you for a covenant of the people,

for a light of the nations:

8

To open the blind eyes,

to bring unjustly imprisoned ones out.

I am the Lord.

 I will not give My glory to another,

or My praise to carved images.

 I will make darkness light before them,

and crooked things straight.

These things I will do

and never forsake them. Isaiah 42:1-16

He is despised and rejected of men;

a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief:

9

and we hid as it were our faces from Him.

Surely, He has borne our griefs

and carried our sorrows.

He was wounded for our transgressions;

He was bruised for our iniquities:

the punishment to bring our peace with God was on Him; and with His wounds we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray;

we have turned everyone to his own way;

and the Lord laid on Him the iniquity of us all,

of all the universe, forever.

 Isaiah 53

10

You were once darkness, but now are light in the Lord: Ephesians 5:8

God, who at different times and in various ways in time past spoke to the fathers by the prophets,

has in these last days spoken to us by His Son,

whom He has appointed heir of all things,

by whom also He made the worlds;

Who is the brightness of His glory,

and the exact image of His person,

11

who upholds all things by the word of His power,

when He, by Himself, cleansed our sins,

sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

The Lord is my light and my salvation;

whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life;

of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

The Lord will be to you an everlasting light,

and your God your glory. Isaiah 60:19

Rise, shine; for your Light has come,

and the glory of the Lord has risen on you.

12

The nations will come to your light,

and kings to your brightness.

For with you is the fountain of life:

in Your light we see light. Psalm 36:9

In Him was life;

and the life was the light of men.

John 1:4

Jesus said, I am the light of the world:

he that follows Me won’t walk in darkness

but will have the light of life. John 8:12

13

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, has abolished death,

and brought life and immortality to light.

2 Timothy 1:10

John, on the island of Patmos

saw the resurrected Lord,

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day,

and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet.

I turned to see the one that spoke to me:

His head and his hairs were white like wool,

as white as snow;

14

and His eyes blaze with love.

His voice had the sound of many waterfalls

and His face shined like the sun.

Revelation1:10-16

Those that overcome will sit with Me on My throne. Revelation 3:21

I will come and receive you to Myself,

that where I am you will be.

When Christ, who is our life, appears,

then you appear with Him in glory.

15

to shine in it for the glory of God

and the Lamb are its light.

Altogether Lovely

Whatsoever things are lovely, think on these things. Philippians 4:8

At midnight the call was made,

Behold, the bridegroom (Jesus)comes.

 Go out to meet Him. Matthew 25:5

Behold, He comes with clouds;

and every eye will see Him.

Revelation 1:7

3

While Paul waited at Athens,

he saw the city was wholly given to idolatry.

He spoke to many there

and they wanted to hear more,

 so they gathered at Mars hill

and Paul said, As I passed by,

I found to an altar to the Unknown God.

I will show Him to you.

God that made the world and all things in it,

seeing He is Lord of heaven and earth,

doesn’t dwell in temples made with hands.

He isn’t worshipped with men's hands,

as though He needed anything,

4

seeing He gives to all life, and breath,

and all things

and made of one blood all nations of men

to dwell on all the face of the earth.

And set their times and boundaries

in a way that they would seek Him.

Though He isn’t far from every one of us:

for in Him we live, and move, and have our being.

Acts 17:16,23-28

He is more beautiful than all men:

He made them all in His image.

Psalm 45:2, Genesis 1:26,27

5

He made everything beautiful in His time:

Ecclesiastes 3:11

By the word of the Lord the heavens were made;

and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

Let all the earth fear the Lord and stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done;

He commanded, and it stood fast.

In the beginning was the word

and the Word was with God,

and the Word was God.

All things were made by Him;

and without Him nothing was made.

6

In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.

He came to His own nation,

but they didn’t receive Him.

But as many as received Him,

to them He gave power to become the sons of God,

even to those that believe on His name.

John 1:1-4

unless it is given to him from My Father.

by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

When Jesus told the people,

Whoever eats My flesh

(believes He is the Son of God),

and drinks My blood

(believes He is the promised Savior of the world

who would die for their sins),

has eternal life;

and I will raise him up at the last day.

 John 6:54

8

From that time many of His disciples left Him.

Then Jesus said to the twelve,

Will you also go away?

Peter said, Lord, to whom shall we go?

You have the words of eternal life.

John 6:65-68

At the coasts of Decapolis,

a deaf man with a speech impediment was brought to Him. When Jesus had healed him,

the multitude was beyond astonished,

and said, He has done all things well.

Mark 7:33-37

9

Bless the Lord, O my soul,

and don’t forget all His benefits:

Who forgives all our iniquities;

heals all our diseases:

who redeems our life from destruction;

who crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

who renews our youth like the eagle's.

The Lord does rightness and justice

for all that are oppressed. Psalm 103:1-7

The Lord brings the counsel of those against Him

to nothing; He makes the thoughts of the people

have no effect.

10

The counsel of the Lord stands for ever,

the thoughts of His heart to all generations.

Psalm 33:10:11

He builds up: He gathers the outcasts.

 He heals the broken in heart.

He numbers the stars;

He calls them all by their names.

Great is our Lord, and of great power:

His understanding is infinite.

but casts the wicked to the ground. Psalm 147:2-6

and the first begotten of the dead,

and the prince of the kings of the earth.

and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

and has made us kings and priests to God,

His Father,

12

 to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.

Revelation 1:5,6

Thanks to the Father,

who has made us fit to share the inheritance

of the saints in light:

Who delivered us from the power of darkness

and transferred us into the kingdom of His dear Son,

in whom we have redemption through His blood,

the forgiveness of sins:

who is the image of the invisible God,

the firstborn of every being.

13

For by Him all things were created that are in heaven, and in earth, visible and invisible,

whether they are thrones, or dominions,

or principalities, or powers:

all things were created by Him, and for Him:

And He is before all things,

and by Him all things are held together.

Holy harmless undefiled,

separate from sinners,

 higher than the heavens,
